Linebacker Trey DePriest to Score for Alabama

pringfield High School football star Trey DePriest announced on Friday he will be attending the University of Alabama during a delicious meal at Buffalo Wild Wings with friends and family, and lots of fans.
DePriest is ranked the best amongst incoming college football players with a solid five star rating on Scout, and four star ratings on Rivals and ESPN, which explains why he was chosen as an Under Armor All-American.
“I think Trey is special because he is an amazing athlete for his size,” said Mark Porter, director for ScoutingOhio.com. “He carries 220 pounds like some kids carry 175 pounds. He is very explosive to the ball which lets him make big plays.”

As a junior in high school, he registered 101 tackles as Springfield High finished 7-5.
Alabama and Ohio State are the preseason No. 1 and No. 2 teams according to rankings, who may or may not meet on the field next January. DePriest believes Alabama has the most potential.
